ANZAC Day Memorial Service and Dinner 25th April 2016

ANZAC Day details are as follows

Date and time - 25 April 2016, 18h00 for 18h30
Place - Natal Mounted Rifles headquarters, Entrance opposite Durban Country Club Walter Gilbert Avenue

This is the 101st anniversary of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps landing at Gallipoli.

The Agenda
The memorial service will commence at 18h00. Various dignitaries and military entities will lay wreaths and crosses during the service.

After the service those who have booked for dinner will move to the Officer's Mess facility's for drinks prior to moving on to the Dixie Adam's Function Room
for dinner.

Mr Ben Payle, the Australian Deputy High Commissioner, will pay tribute to those who served in all conflicts.
We are are also very fortunate to have as our Our Guest Speaker, Tony Park.

Tony is a best selling author from Australia. He is a Reservist  in the Australian
Tony Park
Defence Force (Major) and has served in Afghanistan. Tony has travelled extensively in Southern Africa, and elsewhere, and has a strong empathy with Wildlife. So much so that he has a second or maybe first choice home next to Kruger National Park.

Favourite mode of transport - 1995 Land Rover Defender  with Aluminium body.
